The Future of Manifolds

Designed to withstand a working pressure of up to 30MPa, our manifolds are compatible and interchangeable for use with all gases. Tailoring our manifold configuration to suit customer requirement is standard at CEFRANK. We’ve got a variety of manifolds to suit all gas applications. Here’s a look at our some of our most exciting developments.

CEFRANK Manifold

DC3 – Quick Repair

The DC3 manifold has been designed with angled pigtails that allow for quick and easy repair on-site. No need to remove or loosen cylinders, no need for special equipment. The broken or damaged part can simply be unscrewed and replaced with a new one, allowing for ultimate convenience both for the gas company and the end-user.

Long-life Acetylene

We have developed a state-of-the-art acetylene manifold of stainless steel construction. CEFRANK’s acetylene manifold is hard-wearing, rust-proof, and long-lasting. The spring-loaded manifold provides convenience for the end user and offers greater flexibility to incorporate disparate cylinder sizes. This manifold benefits from in-built two-way non-return valves, called flash arrestors and features stainless quick connectors for quick and easy installation.

DC-H2 – The Universal Manifold

The DC-H2 manifold is the jewel in the CEFRANK crown. A new product, this manifold has the potential for universal application. The first of its kind in the world, this manifold has a unique floating design, which allows its use on flammable, non-flammable and inert and special mixed gases.

Due to the isolating valves, allowing each cylinder to be cut off from the rest of the battery, this manifold can be used for even flammable gases which require this feature for safety. However, isolation valves are also useful for securing and protecting valuable specialty mixed gases.

CEFRANK Cylinder Bundles; why our bundles are better

Our manifolded cylinder bundles, or ‘packs’ as we generally call them, are the cornerstone product of CEFRANK UK. Founder and Director Frank Cetinich developed his unique product over a number of years and with a wealth of experience in the industry. What started as a career in trouble-shooting for various major gas companies in and around Australia, Mr Cetinich could see a place in the market for a new kind of cylinder bundle. He was tired of seeing equipment that was over-engineered, over-weight and difficult to maintain. After much consideration, research and development Mr Cetinich came up with the prototype for the CEFRANK manifolded cylinder pack. Not only did our design break the convention of existing market models but the concept of going out-of-house for  cylinder equipment was also a challenge to the status quo.

What started as a quest to offer an gas cylinder equipment alternative to the gas companies became a mission to develop the ultimate, universal pack that could be bought and used in every country, conform to the strictest safety standards across all industries and above all be easy to use and cheap to maintain. We achieved this goal and believe ours to the best cylinder pack on the market today.

Why a CEFRANK pack is different

The CEFRANK pack is different because it is light weight, designed on principles of simplicity and efficiency, and yet strong enough and secure enough to handle over 10 years of active use in the field. We guarantee our product for 10 years.

The CEFRANK pack is different because it is based on a modular design which is assembled using lock-nuts instead of requiring welds. This is where our product really comes into its own. The modular, bolted nature of the CEFRANK cylinder pack means that it can be shipped efficiently and cost effectively to anywhere in the world. Transporting our disassembled packs is extremely cost effective because they are flat-packed.

The CEFRANK pack is different because it has a life-long cost-effective maintenance built in to the design. The modular, bolted frame means that when a pack is damaged in the field or needs repair, you simply isolate and remove the damaged piece and replace it with a new piece from your inventory (or from ours). Because the parts are bolted together you don’t need to worry about having welders, or losing the integrity of the weld or galvanising in the process. It also means you can save time and cost on repairs. In fact, our pack will save you up to 80% of the cost of maintenance during the lifetime of the product which could exceed the industry standard by many, many years.

Supporting Schools

It might surprise our customers to know that our Director Frank Cetinich is not just an expert in gas cylinder equipment. He also has a talent for grilling meat, especially fish, that only a select few and privileged folk have experienced. Give him a pair of tongs and some fire and he can make magic happen. For the summer fair at a Berkshire junior school, CEFRANK UK kindly sponsored a Croatian food table for the International Food festival. Director Frank Cetinich wasn’t afraid roll up his sleeves to play chef for the day, assisting his wife and daughter as they made ćevapi rolls for the curious customers. The smell coming from the barbecue was tantalising as people stopped to ask what it was we were selling. With some lovely flatbread given to us at a fundraising-discount from the generous folks at Magaza, we filled them with the Croatian skinless, garlic sausage known as ćevapčići or simply ćevapi and some diced raw onion, topped with the ubiquitous ajvar, a red pepper relish, that frequents many Croatian tables.

We were a bit slow to start, but ended up selling out shortly after lunch with only a few bags of kifli and oblatne (a wafer slice) left. Frank was kept busy for a few hours on the barbecue, keeping an eye on row after row of ćevapi that the crowds waited for as they lined up. The stall was a wonderful success thanks to the help of the family and the generous support of CEFRANK UK.  The day was another example of how the CEFRANK family work well as a team always pulling together to get the job done.
